I love smoothie recipes. Smoothies just make my day better and give me lots of energy and I feel healthier when I drink them. This one was a really good one. It has spinach in it, but the spinach taste is not overpowering. I used frozen strawberries to make it really cold and raspberries fresh from my garden to make it very tasty!
I made this smoothie recipe for breakfast after I went for a long run and it was very refreshing. It has 2 superfoods in it including gogi berries which help with energy production and chia seeds which are full of fiber and omega 3’s. They are pretty much tasteless so I can put them in every smoothie recipe I want to.
This smoothie was made in my Blendtec Wildside Blender which I use just about every day. Sometimes multiple times a day!
You will see this recipe is gluten and dairy free and you won’t even miss it, since it tastes so yummy!
Here’s the recipe for this smoothie:
1 cup raspberries
1 cup frozen strawberries
2 cups organic baby spinach
2 cups fresh squeezed orange juice (or not from concentrate)
1 cup rice milk
2 T. gogi Berries
1 T. chia seed
Blend on frozen fruit setting. Makes about 6 cups of smoothie.
